Straw yellow, clear wine. Pleasant in the mouth with good acidity. Excellent aromas between citrus fruits and hydrocarbon nuances. Traits of green apple. Good persistence in the mouth and instinct for good maturation in the bottle. The beauty of this wine is seeing it evolve over time simply by maturing in the bottle.

Cork stoppers with DIAM technology.

  • Wine and Land

    Plant year 2018.

German clone vine grafted onto American rootstock.
Certified organic vineyard and Simonit & Sirch plant pruning and conservation system.

Fertilization every other year exclusively with manure sourced locally from NON-intensive farms.
The vineyard is located at an average altitude of 440 m above sea level in the Alta Langa, in the municipality of Monesiglio (CN). It has a SOUTH/SOUTH-EAST exposure.

Land that is divided into first layers of a clayey/loamy soil of red color with a high content of iron oxides and hydroxides with shades of white in the upper part of the vineyard, typical of the superficial layers of crumbled marl. After a few meters of depth the actual marls begin.

This part of the Langa has a defined geological era and is part of the ancient Piedmontese tertiary basin. In particular, here we are in the presence of the sandstones of the Rocchetta-Monesiglio formation (Miocene geological era: Serravallian-Tortonian).

  • Harvest

Harvest at the beginning of October with selection and thinning of the grapes.

High ripening and sugar yield of the bunches, with a medium-low yield in terms of volume of must, due to the very low rainfall in the summer period.

The vinification takes place in steel tanks without maceration on the skins for the entire fermentation, which is carried out at cold temperatures between 12 and 15°.

Transfer of the clean product for maturation on the noble lees, always in steel tanks, at a controlled temperature (10/12° C), until late spring.
